Project examples
We are advising a large real estate group on the acquisition of shares in one of the world’s leading companies in the development and construction of solar power plants and energy storage systems. The share deal is an integrated part of the group’s new strategic renewable energy pillar. E.venture is providing the overall M&A Project Management Office (PMO) and analyzing the opportunities and risks of the investment through holistic company and market reviews as part of the commercial due diligence processes.
We developed a comprehensive financial model for a European energy supplier with respect to a large electrolyser that is intended to produce hydrogen for the transport sector in cooperation with a refinery. We evaluated all relevant parameters and conducted a holistic market analysis with respect to the European RED ll requirements in sensitivity to the most important input parameters such as electricity prices, transport costs and subsidy schemes. The results were summarised in an information memorandum and serve as an information and decision-making basis for our client and the regulator.
For a large European energy company, we developed the carve-out concept for the divestment of the power grid of a major German city. We developed a milestone and implementation plan through relevant working groups along the dimensions of organization/processes, personnel, contracts, IT etc. and accompanied the entire implementation process as well as key decisions by providing comprehensive project controlling and relevant documentation for the decision makers.
